EXCLUSIVE: Gerald Anderson on team up with Bea Alonzo: ‘Never been seen before’

<div><a href='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL_US3sD1W0'><img src='' alt='070716-gerald_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Even prior to the release of his upcoming movie’s trailer</a>, Gerald Anderson was very well aware that certain people were rooting for his tandem with Bea Alonzo in their upcoming film<i> How To Be Yours</i>.</div><div><br/></div><div><a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/69687/gerald-anderson-and-bea-alonzo-are-hanging-out-again/'>Although Gerald previously described their pairing as “weird” he continued that it was “familiar.” </a></div><div><br/></div><div>“So far <i>sobrang</i> positive. Like I said something new and never been seen before,” he said in a recent exclusive interview with Push.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald added that it was  “something <i>na </i>you guys should have seen back then.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The new tandem now known as “BeaRald” openly affirmed in a recent interview that the film paved the way for them to talk about their “past.” It may be recalled that the two were a couple albeit quite briefly a few years back.</div><div><br/></div><div>“Now this is the chance <i>na,</i> not just<i> ‘yung </i>relationship, <i>‘yung </i>chemistry <i>siguro. </i>It’s something to look forward to,” said Gerald.</div><div><br/></div><div>The newly inducted Philippine Coast Guard lieutenant says that their film is very light and fun. </div><div><br/></div><div>“It’s just a positive movie. Let’s be happy about the projects<i> na ginagawa namin</i> for the audience. <i>‘Yun lang,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald plays the role of Niño, a chandelier sales agent who is hell bent on obtaining stability. Bea plays the role of Anj, is a self-taught cook who dreams of making it into a high-end restaurant someday.</div><div><br/></div><div>He claims that the story sheds light to a very modern relationship about two people who are in love yet who want to do different things even before they’ve met.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Ang mahirap doon is papaano kapag dumating ang pangarap mo kasabay ng taong mahal mo. Parang ang sarap di ba? Pero at the same time mahirap rin ‘yun. Kasi ano ang</i> priority<i> mo, ‘yung</i> relationship <i>mo or ‘yung pangarap mo?</i>” shared Gerald.</div><div><br/></div><div>What are his expectations come the movie’s nationwide release on July 27?</div><div><br/></div><div>“I don’t know. A good movie? ‘<i>Yun naman ang</i> goal<i> ko eh</i>. Everything I do,<i> gusto ko</i> I give my best and I think <i>sa lahat ng</i> projects <i>ko nakita naman ‘yun ng mga</i> fans. I really do my best,” ended Gerald.</div><div><br/></div>
