After starring in the successful primetime teleseryes The Legal Wife in 2014 and Bridges of Love in 2015, Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales will soon be back on ABS-CBN’s primetime slot this 2016 through the upcoming soap, Never Ever Say Goodbye.
Playing opposite Kapamilya actress Arci Munoz, Jericho described his character Waldo as Arianne’s hero. “He’s a fisherman. He grew up, not in an island, pero parang it’s a fishing village kasama si Arianne. They fell in love, bata pa sila, mga teenagers ganyan. It’s a story of one great love. Kumbaga para siyang macha-challenge ng life,” he told PUSH.com.ph.
Talking about his working with his new on-screen partner, Jericho said, “Lots of laughter sa set especially with Arci kasi lagi namin siyang pinagti-tripan sa set eh. Siya ‘yung binubully namin palagi. Gano’n talaga ‘pag favorite ka sa set, bubully-hin ka. Okay naman. It’s fun.”
Moreover, Jericho, who was working with Arci for the first time, also shared, “May mga heavy sequences na kami and then may mga light moments kami. We’re able to talk about it, explore and then execute it. Of course, with the help of our director. It’s fun. We’re very comfortable working with each other.”
However, he admitted feeling awkward during their first day of work. He shared, “First day namin, medyo awkward ng konti pero tumagal lang ‘yun ng isang eksena kasi kailangan super in love na kaming dalawa sa story.”
Aside from this teleserye, Jericho revealed that they are trying to squeeze in a new movie. Other than that, he is busying himself with work outside showbiz. “Actually may mga iba akong bagay na ginagawa outside showbiz or non-actor related stuff. Business and online stuff, mga ganyan. If you check my Instagram, you’ll see it there. I want to share my life and my lifestyle, the things that I do. Kasi parang naramdaman ko na may followers ako na interesado sa pagmomotor. Pare-pareho kaming interesado sa motorcycles, sa kotse, sa travel, sa pagkain, sa kung anu-anong bagay sa buhay, parang ganyan. Basically, it’s parang a male-centric lifestyle,” he said, adding that he is also busy with his barbershops.
