Lisa Macuja urges local audiences to support performing artists

"I think all artists naman would really wish for strong support from the government—the Philippine artists and Philippine art scene. After the Marcos administration we have suffered a lot from neglect."

"It’s time now na bigyan na ng pansin our work. This [is] non-stop. Our artists—even with the change of government—did not stop our lives. We’re dedicated to what we are very passionate about."

"Let’s start the support within ourselves and let’s start the support by getting for our tickets, paying for our tickets and enjoying the performance."
