With
her role as the eldest daughter of Sylvia Sanchez in the new Kapamilya family
drama The Greatest Love, Dimples
Romana admitted her character as Amanda Alegre who is always at odds with her
mother was an eye-opener for her.

As part of the Star Magic family for almost two decades now, Dimples said it has had a major influence on her life from teens to adulthood. "Napakahusay kasi nila Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) at Tita Mariole (Alberto) because even back then when I was 12 years old and I’m now 31, noon naalala ko lahat ng mga puwede ibigay sa amin na workshops which was courtesy of our Star Magic family tapos lahat ng puwede ko gawin, nag-hosting workshop ako with tito Boy Abunda naman, so nag-hosting class ako dun. So the Star Magic family is all about giving you freedom and yet teaching you the discipline of being an artist. But at the same time tuturuan ka nila maging professional,” she explained.
The The Greatest Love actress said Star Magic also became a second family to her during the more difficult times in her life. "Star Magic came during the time when I just lost my sister to leukemia and I remember na dinala ako ng manager ko kay Mr. M at sa murang isipan ko na 12 years old inisip ko, ‘Bakit ba ako nandidito?’ And then Star Magic introduced me to a world where I never imagined I could fit in.
Now
at 31 years old and a growing family of her own, Dimples said she has grown a
lot as a well-rounded person and actress because of the help she got from her
talent management. "Nung pumasok ako wala naman akong alam gawin. Ang alam
ko lang, ready ako matuto. Tapos hindi nawala yun sa akin. Nung nagsimula ako
puro drama yung pinapagawa nila sa akin pero a few years later nagkaroon ng
hosting class si tito Boy Abunda. Pinasok din nila ako dun. So now I host a lot
of things like i-Shine and then for
TFC I’ve
also hosted Swak na Swak so I’ve always felt proud na hindi natatapos yung learning
sa Star Magic,”
she said.
