Famous for his kontrabida roles, Dick Israel has starred in many action and comedy films such as Batas ng Lansangan, Hari ng Selda: Anak ni Baby Ama 2 and Pakners, among others. He was also known for his role as John Lloyd Cruz’ adopted father in the ABS-CBN teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man. Dick has been in the industry since the 1970s, and his last movie was Boy Golden in 2013.
In 2010, Dick suffered a stroke which led to a fund-raising activity supported by his celebrity friends.
