“When I was 9 years old, probably in Grade 4, I was bullied for my skin and the way I looked. How my nose was like this, how my eyebrows were probably not seen – I didn’t have any eyebrows, really. How I looked different compared to the other people kasi sa school ko po dati everyone was really white-skinned. Pero you know what? I’m thankful for those scars. I wouldn’t be who I am now, really.”

Host Boy Abunda noted that whenever Bailey May’s name would be mentioned during the interview, the viewers would erupt in cheers. He observed, “Your fans want you and Bailey to be together.”

“Thank you!” Ylona exclaimed. “That’s especially nice to know. I mean, he’s one of my closest friends in the business – really, in real life. So that’s really nice to know guys. Salamat!”

On many occasion, the two have been photographed or seen by people holding each other’s hands. Ylona disclosed, “he’s just really being a gentleman. He holds my hands especially when we go down the stairs. Especially you know yung mga fans sometimes things could happen.”

During the segment Fast Talk, Ylona was asked when was the “last text you sent to Bailey?” She replied, “kanina.” When prompted, “what was it?” She giddily exclaimed, “bawal po sabihin! Ayaw ko po sabihin!”
