Gerald Anderson on past romance with Bea Alonzo: ‘Wag naman silang malungkot para sa amin’

072716-htby_main.jpgGerald Anderson admitted that he would miss his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo after all the bonding that they did while making and promoting their film How To Be Yours.

“Alam mo sobrang bilis ng mga pangyayari eh. Kagabi parang nasa Cebu lang kami tapos ngayon premiere night. I really find it so fast so ine-enjoy lang namin ang moment,” he said during an interview at the cast party after the movie’s premiere night last July 26.

Over the weekend, a feature story about the two discussing their short-lived romance in detail came out.

Since it was the first time that they openly talked about the demise of their romance, many felt that the two deserved a second chance.

“Oo nga ano, when you put it all together ito pala ang naging love story namin,” Bea began.

She continued, “Hindi ko alam kung paano ako magre-react kasi the fact that we’re talking about it now… before we don’t even talk about it. So, I’m happy na it’s out there.”

Bea hopes that unveiling their story to a larger audience could be beneficial for some people.

“Siguro merong mga tao na pareho sa pinagdaanan namin nung time na ‘yun na baka na-inspire ganon,” she said.

Some netizens felt bad over what they had to endure just to keep their relationship from the public.

To this Gerald said, “‘Wag naman silang malungkot para samin. ‘Wag naman.”

Like Bea, the hunky actor pointed out that their romance and everything that they went through changed them for the better.

“I mean, sa mga nakabasa. Nakita niyo naman kung ano ang pinagdaanan namin. I learned a lot and I’m thankful din. Siyempre I wish it would have lasted longer. Di ba? But ang importante you learned a lesson,” he reiterated.

Now that they are able to work with each other, Gerald did not really dismiss the fact that their communication lines have also opened.

“Communication, ‘yun naman ang ano eh. Siyempre magiging busy rin siya, ako rin. Just communication,” he said.

Catch Bea and Gerald’s movie titled How To Be Yours by Dan Villegas in cinemas nationwide starting July 27.
