Kobe Paras on his new school: ‘Right here, it’s not coach and players. It’s more of a family’

Kumportable raw ang pakiramdam ni Kobe sa napili niyang school. “Right here, it’s not coach and players. It’s more of a family.” May sinabi rin ang head basketball coach ng Creighton University na si Greg McDermott na nakatulong sa pagdedesisyon ni Kobe. Ani Kobe, “he’s not going to take care of you like a player, he’s going to take care of you like a son.” Ayon naman sa ama ni Kobe na si Benjie Paras, malaking tulong ang payo ng High School coach ni Kobe. “Siya yung humahawak lahat at nagdecide para din sa kanya at sinabi niya yung mga positive at negative side nung mga eskwelahang papasukan niya.” Nilinaw ni Kobe kung sino ang mga naging inspirasyon niya. “First of all I’m doing this for my family, we’ve been through a lot. And (I) want to make them proud. And of course I’m doing it for country.” Balang araw ay gusto rin diumano ni Kobe na makapaglaro para sa Pilipinas. “Of course, that’s on mind. Being a part of the national team is really a part of what I want to do.”

Ayon naman sa ama ni Kobe na si Benjie Paras, malaking tulong ang payo ng High School coach ni Kobe. “Siya yung humahawak lahat at nagdecide para din sa kanya at sinabi niya yung mga positive at negative side nung mga eskwelahang papasukan niya.” Nilinaw ni Kobe kung sino ang mga naging inspirasyon niya. “First of all I’m doing this for my family, we’ve been through a lot.
