On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Ignacio de Loyola star Andreas Muñoz talked about how it was working with a Filipino Crew and director Paulo Dy.
“It was interesting. It was wonderful to be honest. I didn’t know much about Filipinos before, the Filipino filmmakers, or anything.” He added, “After working with them I’m amazed at their craft, how they develop [their ideas], and how international they are – how good they are.”
Host Boy Abunda could not help but express his appreciation for what the actor said especially as he has worked in the past with renowned directors like Guillermo del Toro, to which Andreas replied, “it’s true. The thing has to be said. I always say to Paolo Dy that I find this country really rich and it is still to be discovered. And I would love to see more Filipino films made international. I mean, why not? Let’s aim for that.”
As it’s the third time that the actor has been to the Philippines, he was asked if he’s open to taking on projects in the country to which, Andreas eagerly replied, “Yes!”
