EXCLUSIVE: Dimples Romana on supporting Angel Locsin: ‘I know she’s going through something’

The two actresses enjoyed bonding time during a two-day retreat at The Farm resort in Batangas last May. Dimples said people might be surprised to find out that they don’t usually talk about issues. “Hindi kami nag-usap tungkol sa mga pinagdadaanan. Kasi in fact bawal sa amin pag-usapan ang mga pinagdadaanan. Medyo ibang friend ako eh. mas gusto ko yung kung kailangan na mag-move on, gagawin ko yung lahat kung kaya ko gawin yun para sa kanya. Unti unti lang, baby steps. Para naman hindi rin siya mabigla,” she told <a href='http://Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a>.Dimples said that she would always be there for the godmother of her son Alonzo. The talented actress admitted she is aware of Angel’s recent emotional interviews with the media whenever she is asked about her breakup with Luis Manzano. 'I know she’s going through something kasi ilang taon din yun di ba? But they’re both my friends. I still have the same respect I have for Luis kapareho nung respetong meron ako sa kanya noon. Hindi naman yun nagbabago. Pero kay Angel siguro dahil kaibigan ko siya, mahal ko siya eh. Siyempre to the rescue ako eh. Pero gusto ko rin na maging okay na siya. Pero I think she’s getting there. Kasi magkasama naman kami madalas. Ngayon lang hindi masyado,” she admitted.The Greatest Love actress said she is happy that her friend is taking steps to truly moving on with her life both personally and professionally. 'I’m so proud of her because I think she’s going to start working again and her back is better. At saka she’s such a beautiful lady eh. Walang words na ma-express kung gaano siya kagandang tao at kabuting tao. When we did that retreat, they didn’t know that we were going to bring them to the cancer warriors. It was my brother’s advocacy tapos sabi ko, ‘O may surpresa ako. Susurpresahin natin yung mga bata with your presence.’ We didn’t make them bring anything. Wala silang dinala but themselves. The kids were so happy and I know that was also good for Angel because whatever fills her heart with love, I’m all for that,” she said.
