Enchong Dee shared his experience attending the inauguration of Vice-President Leni Robredo recently. The actor has been one of the supporters of Vice-President Leni ever since she decided to run.
"Siyempre first time kong maka-attend ng ganon di ba and sabi ko nga I'm just always there for her 100 percent. I'm just happy that she won para mas makikala ng tao kung sino talaga siya," he said in an interview at the premiere night of I Love You To Death.
He added, "Siyempre may mga kanya kanya tayong candidate last election pero now that she's there, she's our Vice President sana mas maging open ang tao kung sino talaga si tita Leni."
Does he want to be part of VP Leni's future projects and programs?
"Of course as much as possible ayokong ako yung mismong magpresenta na oo ganito, ganyan. Ako parang kung ako kailangan niya ako I'll be there, kung hindi I'll be busy watching her on TV and the news just to support her."
Enchong was also ecstatic knowing that president Rodrigo Duterte and VP Leni finally met for the first time during the AFP event yesterday, July 1. "I'm so happy ni-retweet ko nga 'yun eh. It's their first time na mag-meet and nakakatuwa 'yung photos and I hope it will be the start of something very, very exciting and good for the Philippines."
Enchong is presently headlining the new horror comedy film I Love You To Death.
"I am really praying for a good outcome," he said.
He said working with Kiray Celis on the movie was very easy.
Enchong is celebrating his 10th anniversary in showbiz this year. What are his plans for his anniversary?
"I will really work hard for this year. Ako siguro something I could offer to my audience and to my fans is [something] outside show business. Like yung restaurant, they can approach na they can see me as Enchong Dee, the other side of me rather than just acting and performing in front of them."
