Yeng Constantino’s songs to be featured in ‘Josephine the Musical’

071716-YensConstantino_main.jpgYeng Constantino admitted she never imagined she would be celebrating her 10th year in showbiz anniversary with a full-blown musical featuring all her songs in a PETA production in September called Josephine the Musical. "I first found out three years ago nung parang na-visualize siya nung manager ko na si kuya Erickson Raymundo and sabi niya, ‘Dapat sa ika-sampung taon mo sa industry meron kang musical.’ Pero fast forward to this day, wow totoo nga noh, nangyayari na nga talaga siya so I’m so happy kasi para siyang long journey na project. Nandun kasi ako nung auditions eh,” she recalled.

Despite all her achievements, the I Love OPM judge said she still has moments of self-doubt. "Alam ito ng manager ko. When there are times na may mga malaking bagay na biyaya na dumadating sa career ko, nagkakaroon ako ng self-doubt which is lagi akong napapagalitan ng manager ko. It’s not about being humble, I think pagka may malaking biyaya sa life mo, may mga voices sa ulo mo na magsasabi na. ‘You don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve that. You know what God? I’ll receive it and I’ll say thank you Lord,’” she admitted.

The 27-year-old performer said she will always remain humble no matter what blessings she receives. Kasi ibig sabihin nun you feel like lahat ng nangyayari sa life mo kagagawan mo lang. Hindi mo talaga puwede makuha yung credit for yourself. Hindi mo rin naman puwedeng itanggi. There’s always a balance. You have to find that balance,” she explained.
