The “Magandang Buhay” host shares the lesson she has learned when she and Jason Francisco faced a challenge in their married life.
Two months ago, comedienne Melai Cantiveros and her husband Jason Francisco admitted that they were having marital woes. At that time, both of them were busy with their acting careers but former Pinoy Big Brother winners said they made it a priority to fix their problem.

Melai in an interview with ABS-CBN News imparted what she learned from the situation.
“Natutunan ko na kailangan mo talagang i-balance 'yung time mo para mabigyan mo ng time 'yung family mo at work mo. Kung ano 'yung priority mo, kailangan mo talagang isipin. Kailangan piliin mo din 'yung mga tatanggapin mo para maka-serve ka pa sa family mo. Thank you Lord at na-balance ko,” she said.
She also assured their supporters that no trial would tear them apart.
“Kung aabot sa ganun, hindi puwede kasi asawa ko siya. No way. Talagang isi-stick ko ang sarili ko no matter what happens kasi nga sumumpa ako sa Panginoon at mahal na mahal ko naman ang pamilya ko. Walang makakatibag sa amin,” she said.
Melai and Jason met inside the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2009 and officially became a couple right after the show. They got married in 2013. They have a 2-year old daughter named Mela.
Melai also Pulged that they’re planning to have another baby but not anytime soon.
“Ang plano namin talaga in the next two years pa para kapag four years old na si Mela, may baby na bago. Work work work muna ngayon. Kapag dumating naman anytime soon, it’s welcome.”
