Is Gelli de Belen open to working with husband Ariel Rivera at the Kapamilya network?

<div><img src='' alt='070116-gelli_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Gelli de Belen’s last show on ABS-CBN was the ‘90s variety program<i> ‘Sang Linggo Na Po Sila.</i> Now, she is back on the Kapamilya network with a major primetime project titled<i> Never, Ever Say Goodbye </i>starring Arci Munoz and Jericho Rosales.</div><div><br/></div><div>Saying that she missed working with ABS-CBN considering that she was with the network since she was 15 years old until she got married, Gelli told <a href='http://PUSH.com.ph'>PUSH.com.ph</a>, “Now I’m seeing new faces and old faces as well. It’s fun to see everybody again. Parang going back home.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Giving an overview of her character in the new TV series, Gelli counts herself as, “<i>Medyo ako ‘yung</i> antagonist <i>sa kwento,</i> the ex-wife of John Estrada – (who) apparently, is the current husband of Arci. So, I’m just probably going to make their lives a little bit more complicated.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Now that Gelli is soon to appear on primetime, she was also asked about her husband Ariel Rivera who also has a primetime show, <i><a href='http://bornforyou.abs-cbn.com'>Born For You</a>.</i> </div><div><br/></div><div>“I’m so happy for him.<i> Maganda ‘yung</i> role <i>niya </i>apparently <i>talaga dito sa</i> <i>Born For You din.</i> It’s a different take <i>kasi medyo may pagkamusical ang Born for You ng konti. Maraming </i>musical elements ‘<i>dun sa</i> soap and it’s something I’m sure people will want to see <i>kasi si </i>Ariel <i>hindi na masyadong nakikitang kumakanta </i>so that’s exciting,” she said about her husband’s role in the Janella Salvador-Elmo Magalona teleserye. </div><div><br/></div><div>“It’s fun… I’m happy that we’re both here <i>kasi</i> usually<i> magkahiwalay kami ng</i> station and I’m happy na although we’re not working together on the same show, still we’re in the same network,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, Gelli was asked if she is looking forward to working with Ariel on one show, to which she replied, “Yeah, definitely. That would be really fun, I think and hard also,” referring to the familiarity of the other.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Minsan kaeksena mo,</i> you take them for who they are and what they’re doing at that very moment <i>pero ’pag masyado kang</i> familiar ‘<i>dun sa kaeksena </i>mo like in my case, <i>si</i> Ariel or let’s say my sister<i> si</i> Janice (de Belen), <i>hindi ko alam kung paano</i>. We’ve done shows before together <i>pero</i> never a soap <i>na</i> full-length so <i>hindi ko alam kung paano,”</i> she elaborated.</div><div><br/></div>

Gelli de Belen is back at ABS-CBN with a new primetime show.
