Ruffa Gutierrez happily shared that her mother Annabelle Rama and her boyfriend Jordan Mouyal are now on good terms.
It may be recalled that Annabelle had openly expressed her disapproval for her daughter’s boyfriend.
Now that things are better with her boyfriend and the feisty actress-manager, is Ruffa open to tying the knot anew?
“Maybe, why not. I think everyone deserves to be happy no matter their age. Even in their seventies, may mga seventy year old na nagpapakasal pa rin,” she said during her Cosmo Skin press conference.
“So for me, getting married is more on the union, di ba? A lot of people get married, sobrang bongga ng wedding tas what happens after? I won’t let that happen again in my life and kailangan siguradong-sigurado ako,” she added.
Ruffa was formerly married to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas, who is the father of her daughters Venice and Lorin. Their marriage was officially annulled in 2012.
The actress-endorser pointed out that her younger brother Richard and his girlfriend Sarah Lahbati should tie first tie the knot because she is in no rush.
“As of now hindi ko pa siya naiisip. I know someday I want to grow old naman with someone, right? It doesn’t mean naman you don’t want to get married, eh, you don’t want to spend your life with someone,” she explained.
Ruffa believes that a huge factor why they were able to make their three-year relationship work was because Jordan is not part of show business.
“Non-showbiz guys, wala naman talaga silang pakialam, eh, because wala naman silang kailangan protektahan na career, eh,” she started.
She reiterated that a celebrity’s career plays a huge role in their relationships.
“When the companies or big TV networks tell them na, ‘’wag ‘yan, panget ‘yan, ‘wag ‘yon.’ Ito namang mga ‘to, they’re slaves of their jobs so they say yes. So instead of having a nice relationship na puwede silang magkatuluyan, ang nangyayari they follow [the companies],” Ruffa explained.
Meanwhile, after Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho’s recent introduction of their daughter, Ruffa was asked whether she would be open to get pregnant again.
“Oo naman, I have fresh eggs! ‘Di mo ba napanood ang season three [ng It Takes Gutz], I want to freeze eggs, but there’s nothing to freeze kasi it’s all fresh! That was only last year,” she blurted out.
While her eggs are still “fresh,” Ruffa admits that “baka hindi pa ako ready [to be pregnant again].”
