Does Jake Ejercito plan to join politics?
060516-JakeEjercito_push.jpgComing from a political family, Jake Ejercito was asked if whether or not he plans to join politics soon. The young Ejercito stressed that he wants to help people but not through politics.

Medyo mahilig ako sa politics but I seem to have gotten disillusioned. Before Singapore, I lived with my sister Jerika in London where I also studied. I could see the big difference between our country and those two countries, so parang nakaka-walang gana,” he said in an interview with Ricky Lo for Philippine Star.

He continued, “Now, I wouldn’t want to go into politics. I think that I can still help people without going into politics, maybe through an NGO (Non-Government Organization). Jerika’s advocacy is mental health. I’m looking for my own advocacy.”

Jake shared in the interview that he will soon take up a Master’s Degree in Marketing from a university in Singapore. As to his love life, he relayed that he is currently single. “Wala. More than a year na.” He added, “Single and very willing to mingle.”

His dad, former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada, has recently won a second term as mayor of the city of Manila in the 2016 elections.
