As a comedian, Ryan Bang is really serious about making people happy.
The actor-comedian recently released his latest self-produced music video titled “Like Love Follow” where he showcased his Filipino rapping skills.
Ryan, who is currently part of gag show Banana Sundae and noontime show It’s Showtime revealed that he hopes to be able to make an independent film.
But, the Korean-born star immediately clarified that wild roles are not his thing.
In fact, when asked if he’s open do shed some skin or even do some butt exposure, Ryan claimed that he has to ask for the management’s approval first.
“Siguro papaalam muna ako sa Star Magic and sa Showtime at Banana Sundae. Kung papayag sila, pasok ko naman sa trabaho,” he said.
Ryan stressed that he wouldn’t think twice in doing such roles provided that “Kung bagay naman talaga sa akin or comedy. Gagawin ko naman for comedy pero ‘yung serious talaga na kailangan maghubad, siguro hindi nila papagawa sa akin ‘yun.”
The 25-year-old Kapamilya star pointed out that his utmost goal remains clear.
“Kasi I’m working to make people happy eh, pero ‘yung mga ganong bagay hindi ko gagawin ‘yun,” he said. “Kaya ginawa ko ang ‘Like Love Follow’ to make people happy.”
If he doesn’t want to do sexy roles perhaps he wants to be a heartthrob?
To this Ryan said, “Napapanaginipan ko minsan na ganon. Pero dapat ang trabaho natin kung ano talaga ang gusto mo, kung saan masaya ka. Ako masaya ako na masaya sila sakin.”
