"[On being a dad] siguro you always have to be ready for the things that will come your way."

He continued, "[On being a husband] siguro being united and being one with your partner, with your wife. It can be difficult sometimes kasi you're also learning things about yourself not only about your partner, how you react to certain things.  Akala mo dati you know yourself but now you're different because now you have someone in life. "

Cogie took a hiatus from showbiz for some time. What did he do while he was away from showbiz?  "Meron kaming business sa Cabanatuan. Meron kaming village, we're selling houses.  Nagpapadala kami ng nurses abroad."

Cogie recently had a stint in an episode of Ipaglaban Mo.

Cogie was one of the most popular young stars in his earlier years.  When asked if who are the young actors he admires in today's generation, Cogie shared that he admires JaDine.

He said, "James (Reid) and Nadine (Lustre) pwede kasi ako daw gumanap na daddy ni James Reid, " he said.

On what is his advice to all the young stars out there, he replied, "Siguro just go for your dreams. You have to push yourself, to do what you can do best para mag excel ka sa gagawin mo. "

Cogie was also asked about his reaction to Keanna Reeves’s claims during an interview in Good Times With Mo that he allegedly slept with the actress ten years ago. 

Cogie clarified "It's not true. Walang ganong nangyari, " he stated
