Cogie Domingo is back to acting as he will star in an upcoming episode of Ipaglaban Mo this Saturday, June 25. In an interview with Push.com.ph, the actor expressed how elated he is to be part of the show.
“I’m very excited to be back. Excited ako sa Ipaglaban Mo. Actually marami akong natutunan kasi tungkol siya sa mag-asawa. When you get problems being married, meron kayong third party, what to do at anong mga legal advice ang makukuha mo dito sa episode na ‘to. Ayun you will learn from this episode na you’re not alone and kung ano ang pwede mong gawin,” he said.
After going on a hiatus, Cogie admitted that he missed showbiz. “’Yung puyat na-miss ko ‘yung puyat.” What made him say “yes” to his role in Ipaglaban Mo? “I just want to get back to what I love doing the most. Siguro at least na-settle ko ‘yung family ko and now I can start doing what I want to do again.”
He was also asked if this means that he will be going back to showbiz for good, he responded, “Yes hopefully, hopefully rin.” He shared that he is still in meetings right now to discuss what his next move will be in showbiz.
Cogie relayed that he wants to work with Eddie Garcia again. “Marami kasi akong natutunan sa kanya and seeing him again brings back those days.” Cogie aspires to play a father role again in the future. “Siguro I want to do a role about being a father I can relate to that. Ayon that will be my dream role.”
Cogie was also asked about his message for former ka-love team Sunshine Dizon who is currently facing marital issues. “Well kay Shine, I know malakas naman loob mo, I mean matalino kang tao and I know you can go through this, kakayanin mo ‘to. Anytime you need me, I’m here,” he said.
