Maxene Magalona shares why she is a big fan of Julia Montes

Since joining the afternoon <i>teleserye <a href='http://doblekara.abs-cbn.com'>Doble Kara</a></i>, she has also been getting positive reviews about her acting as Sam Milby’s sister. 'Actually <i>ang ganda ng</i> role<i> ko sa <a href='http://doblekara.abs-cbn.com'>Doble Kara.</a></i> I play Seb the sister of Sam Milby and at first <i>hindi siya yung</i> typical <i>kontrabida na basta na lang galit. Meron talaga siyang pinagdaanan, may </i>past<i> na pinanggagalingan</i> and I guess in life <i>ganun talaga yun na meron tayong mga</i> dark times <i>na pinagdadaanan</i>. And it’s up to you <i>kung hahayaan mong gawin kang</i> monster<i> nung mga panahon na yun </i>and that’s what happened to my character,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>At 29 years old, Maxene said she does not mind playing anti-hero roles because she explains why villains are necessary and vital to any story. 'So like I always say, okay<i> lang na mag-kontrabida ako sa mga </i>shows <i>kasi ito yung mga dapat huwag nating tularan. Pag pinapanuod ng mga tao sinasabi ko huwag niyong tularan si </i>Alex. <i>Nandiyan siya para makita ninyo na siya yung masama at eto yung mga mabubuti at dapat huwag natin tularan yung masama. kasi kung wala yung mga kontrabida wala naman talaga tayong natutututnan na ay dapat huwag tayo maging ganyan. Kasi sila na yung </i>example <i>na yun na yung huwag nating gagawin. </i>So I think helpful <i>din yung mga kontrabida,”</i> she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Working with Julia Montes is also one of the reasons why Maxene enjoys being part of the show. 'I’m so grateful to be part of<a href='http://doblekara.abs-cbn.com'><i> Doble Kara</i></a> <i>kasi napakaganda nung</i> story and I have nothing but nice words to say about Julia Montes because she’s so awesome. I’m a big fan of hers.<i> Napakabait na tao</i> so <i>talagang nakakatuwa na at </i>her age she’s so hardworking and she’s so passionate about what she does,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Maxene said Julia has served as an inspiration to her when it comes to acting. <i>'Nakakatuwa kasi</i> I was also her age<i> nung nag-start ako sa </i>showbiz and now at my age<i> pag nakikita ko siya na-i-inspire ako</i> to still continue and to still push through, to still keep on going because she’s so inspirational. She’s so<i> nakakatuwa na</i> she can do that dual role. I’m speaking so highly of her <i>kasi </i>twins <i>yung pinag-portray niya sa </i>show<i> na ito</i> and <i>sobrang nagagawa niya ng magandang maganda kaya talagang</i> happy <i>ako </i>proud to be part of that show,” she added.</div>
