In a video uploaded on Facebook by Kenneth Talosig Ringor IV, Padilla was onstage singing his song “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita.”
Later on, he was heard saying, "Oh ano, asan na kayo? #&*o pala (kayo)."
Reports say that a group of boys supposedly called the King of Hearts called the actor names and even showed him the middle finger, which allegedly caught Daniel’s attention.
Ringor insinuated that Padilla walked out from the event via a statement, which read as:
"Kainis eh! Anebeyen kakikita ko lng kay DJ umalis kaagad. Badtrip.”

However, several netizens went on to deny that Daniel left the venue ahead of time. This claim was even supported by another netizen by posting a video of Daniel’s parting words to the crowd.
“Siyempre unang-una po gusto kong magpasalamat sa inyo dahil nanood po kayo ngayong gabi at pasensya napo dahil wala rin po si Kathryn [Bernardo] dahil siya ay nagsho-shoot ng movie namin. First day of shooting ng pelikula namin. Igi-noodluck po natin siya. Handa na ba kayo sa next movie namin?” was the Teen King’s statement before the program ended.
Daniel’s mother Karla Estrada was also quick to defend her son from bashers because of the said incident.
On her Instagram account yesterday, Karla first posted a quote from author Steven Aitchison saying, “There’s a time to be a nice person and there’s a time to say enough is enough.”
This post was followed by a photo of Daniel and his siblings swimming with the caption, “Panatag Ang loob ko Sa ARAW ARAW dahil Alam ko NA katuwang Kita Sa lahat ng bagay.
MARAMING SALAMAT ANAK SA PAGMAMAHAL MO SA AKIN AT SA IYONG MGA KAPATID. KARAPAT DAPAT KANG MAHALIN AT iPAGTANGGOL MAGiNG BUHAY MAN ANG KAPALIT. [sic]”
