Jodi Sta. Maria says there’s a ‘right time’ to discuss her love life

Of course I know their respective wives and <i>mas madali na </i>for me to be working with them <i>kasi talagang kaibigan, propesyunal,”</i> she said during a recent blogger’s conference for their upcoming film <i>The Achy Breaky Hearts</i>.</div><div><br/></div><div>The seasoned star even takes comfort in the fact that Richard and Ian have no “ulterior motives” and “hidden agenda” because of their stature in life.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, speaking of stature, Jodi, who is technically single herself, advised single women these days not to rush into choosing the person that they would spend the rest of their lives with.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Para sa akin, tulad nga ng sinagot ko, para ako kay Chinggay. Kung ano ‘yung tama, at kung saan siya masaya,</i>” she explained. </div><div><br/></div><div>Jodi underscored that women should not cave into the “pressure” put on by society for them to tie the knot only because<i> “nalalantang gulay ka na, napaglipasan ka na ng panahon.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>She further elaborated, “<i>Babae ka man or lalaki ka. Ang </i>point <i>ko lang</i> is <i>‘wag kang nagmamadali </i>or<i> wag mong ibaba ang</i> standards<i> mo sa </i>love just because <i>atat kang magka-</i>boyfriend or <i>magka-</i>girlfriend. It’s always good to wait.”</div><div><br/></div><div>In the same way, Jodi reiterated that there is a right time for her to answer whether or not she is seeing someone at the moment.</div><div><br/></div><div>There have been rumors that she and Jolo Revilla have called it quits. </div><div><br/></div><div>However, recent reports claimed that they have rekindled their romance.</div><div><br/></div><div>What further bolsters this report was the fact that they were recently spotted spending time together in a cat café.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jodi, Richard, and Ian’s movie <i>The Achy Breaky Hearts</i> comes out in theaters this June 29.</div><div><br/></div>
