Earlier this year, Anne wrote a children’s book for UNICEF which she hopes to do again soon in the near future. "I’m so happy. Every time I see my Instagram tags laging merong mga naka-tag ng bumibili ng Anita the Duckling Diva. All funds go to UNICEF,” she said.
The 31-year-old actress said she will never be too busy to help UNICEF. "Oo naman. Kailangan yun. It’s something I’m very passionate about. It’s not just an advocacy for me, it’s something that I do wholeheartedly. I can’t explain it. Even if I wasn’t an actress it would be something I’d be very active in. All the other things are just a cherry on the top you know. This is something that I’ll use as my situation to hopefully influence people so they can also make a change in children’s lives,” she added.
As the host of I Love OPM, Anne said she has no favorites but she is so proud of all the current contestants. "They’re all very good. Ang daming nag-i-improve sa kanila. Ang daming magagaling,” she said.
Anne also admitted she is flattered that Gary Valenciano is inviting her to be part of his next album. "Natuwa ako. Na-touch ako because of course it’s such a great opportunty. Number one it’s something that will raise funds for UNICEF and pangalawa masaya kasi si kuya Gary ang nag-invite (laughs). Wow, major yun. So nakakaliw. Ibig sabihin improving na talaga!” she laughed.
For the upcoming Fathers Day weekend, Anne is looking forward to celebrating with her dad. "Usually lunch siya, ganun or dinner. Napadarami (naming special moments). Every day is a special memory. But I’ll never forget we sang together in one of my concerts,” she shared.
