Mariel Rodriguez takes a leave from “It’s Showtime” after getting hospitalized

<div><i><a href='http://showtime.abs-cbn.com/'><img src='' alt='061516-mariel_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>It’s Showtime</a></i> host Mariel Rodriguez shared on her Facebook account that she had to rush herself to the hospital on Tuesday (June 14) because she felt pain in her abdomen.<br/><br/></div><div>“I thought it could be gas, UTI or worse contractions but turns out my baby is just really playful. It was the baby's movements I was feeling!” she wrote.<br/><br/></div><div>Mariel was worried about her baby because of the naysayers who left comments on her Instagram account when she traveled to Amsterdam with her husband Robin Padilla.</div><div><br/>LOOK: <a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/67555/mariel-rodriguez-and-robin-padilla-in-the-netherlands/'>Mariel and Robin’’s vacation in the Netherlands </a><br/><br/><div>“I was so paranoid maybe because people kept saying don't travel bla bla, don't eat this don’t drink that, too much negativity,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>From now on, the TV host said she won’t let herself be affected with the comments.</div><div><br/></div><div>“Truth is I won't do anything that would harm my baby… I am sensitive, hormonal and paranoid as it is what I need from people...their prayers not unsolicited advice.”</div><div><br/></div><div>She also assured her followers that her she and her baby are ‘doing fabulous.’</div><div><br/></div><div>“When I heard my baby's heartbeat again all the ‘pain’ was gone. It's all in my head (oops). Will relax now and enjoy my pregnancy and pray for a healthy baby!!! </div><div><br/></div><div>“Got a strong baby here... just like daddy.”</div><div><br/></div><div> Mariel will also take a temporary leave from the noontime show to be able to rest.</div><div><br/></div><div>“I was so relieved to hear my baby's heartbeat again. So far my baby is doing good but I just have to rest this out.
