EXCLUSIVE: Vin Abrenica admits he dreamed of working with Jessy Mendiola

<div><img src='' alt='061016-vin_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Newest Kapamilya actor Vin Abrenica will act opposite actress Jessy Mendiola in an episode of <a href='http://www.mmk.abs-cbn.com'>Maalala Mo Kaya</a> this Saturday, June 10.</div><div><br/></div><div>“It’s my dream, of course. <i>Dati nakikita ko lang siya sa pictures, sa</i> Instagram. <i>Tapos nakikita ko lang ‘yung mga videos niya. Ngayon, hindi ako makapaniwala na makakapartner ko siya for that, sa MMK,</i>” he said about Jessy, adding that she is one of the people that he wants to work with.</div><div><br/></div><div>Sharing that he used to just watch the drama anthology with his family on television, he feels overwhelmed to become part of an episode. <i>“Nalaman ko pa na this is the</i> 25th year<i> so sobrang</i> special <i>para sa akin. Nakakaoverwhelm,</i>” he said, although truthfully admitting that he got scared at first.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Kasi MMK, napakalaki ng</i> expectations <i>tapos nalaman kong </i>anniversary <i>pa</i> so solid <i>na pinag-aralan ko talaga ‘yung script. Hindi ako nakatulog. Totoo ‘yun na dire-diretso ako sa </i>taping <i>pero</i> everything’s worth it,” he said, adding that the episode director Jerry Lopez-Sineneng also guided him. </div><div><br/></div><div>Talking about what the story is about, Vin said that he will play the role of a band vocalist who falls in love with the character of Jessy. Noting that his character encountered a lot of temptations, “<i>Iniwan ko siya ng walang</i> closure.<i> Napaka-</i>good soul <i>ng babae, nagtayo siya ng sarili niyang </i>business<i>, nagtayo siya ng sariling niyang pagkakakitaan na naging </i>successful.<i>”</i></div><div><br/></div>
