Rufa Mae Quinto is very excited about her upcoming wedding here in Manila this coming November.
For the first time since news of her engagement went public, Rufa Mae shared during a conference for candidate Mar Roxas, that her wedding entourage would be composed of a number of her celebrity friends.
“‘Yung sa kanya puro taga Amerika. ‘Yung sakin from the Philippines. Si Ai Ai delas Alas, Aiko Melendez, Joyce Jimenez, LJ Moreno, Wendy Tabusalla, ‘yung ilan kong nakausap,” she shared.
The wedding is scheduled on November in Ortigas because it falls on the same month as her fiancé Trevor Magallanes’ birthday.
According to the sexy comedienne, the plan is to stay here in the country after tying the knot.
“Tuloy parin naman siyempre showbiz na ‘ko eh,” she said when asked if she would continue with her showbiz career.
While she could have held the wedding in the US, where she and Trevor met, Rufa Mae clarified that she wanted to involve the people who have been with her through the years.
Are there plans to have a child immediately after the wedding?
“Hindi naman sobrang nagmamadali pero mga after one or two years ganyan.
Meanwhile, Rufa Mae admitted that what she and Trevor had in the US early this year could be considered as a “whirlwind romance.”
“Oo totoo pala ‘yun. Nagkakilala kami January 2 tapos naging kami after a week, January 9.
But she was quick to clarify that they met at a right time when “Siguro tamang ready na rin ako mismo as myself, as a woman.”
“Siguro before, bukod sa hindi kami destiny, ay siguro hindi pa ‘yun ang time na ready ako, ready ang lahat. Siguro totoo nga ang destiny and at the same time you should know what you really want,” she said adding that there is also love the desire to “make things right.”
