Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina admits there is someone who makes her ‘kilig’

<div><img src='' alt='050616-CathyGarciaMolina_PU.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>On <i><a href='http://tonightwithboyabunda.abs-cbn.com'>Tonight with Boy Abunda,</a></i> <i>Just The Three of Us </i>director Cathy Garcia Molina explained why the very first scene of John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado in the film was shot without them meeting each other first as actors. She said she wanted to get the raw reaction of John Lloyd because their first scene was about “two strangers meeting,” or more specifically, John Lloyd’s character Uno being confronted by a woman (Jen’s character) saying she’s pregnant. </div><div><br/></div><div><i>Just The Three of Us</i> is Cathy’s tenth film with John Lloyd and she said that in the film, “I directed him less.” Asked if this is because she sees John Lloyd as a big star, Cathy said, “John Lloyd is not a big star to me. John Lloyd will always remain a friend and a very good actor to me.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Cathy, who is a master of kilig and who is popular for her romantic-comedy films says<i> “ang level of kilig (ko) nagta-transform na, lesser na ang giggly part of kilig.”</i> She explained, <i>“sa tagal at sa dami na ring nagawa kong RomCom, yung puso ko parang meron nang gustong gawing iba. Tapos dumating ako sa punto ng buhay ko na, after my last breakup, parang napagod ang puso ko, parang nagpahinga, parang ayaw na tapos one day kasi tinatawagan na ako ni Inang nila Tita Malou nagko-comment sila sa rushes ko, ‘Cathy hindi kita nararamdaman hindi kita nakikita. Bakit ang dilim ng pelikula</i>, then I started introspecting, then I called Vanessa<i> sabi ko</i> Van, how do you fall in love again, I forgot. There was a time, while making this movie, that I actually forgot how to fall in love. How to get to know someone.” </div><div><br/></div><div>The director says how she found a solution to this. “<i>Ang tagal. Namroblema ako Tito Boy, hindi ko maititindig ang pelikulang ito kung wala. Naghanap ako. Charot. Umikot po ang mata ko, e wala naman ako makikita kundi tao sa set ko, so may nakita ako, okay na to!” </i></div><div><br/></div><div>Direk Cathy clarified that it’s not a relationship but just a crush. “<i>hindi nga niya alam na crush ko siya e… ayaw kong malaman ng kahit sino nakakahiya.” </i></div><div><br/></div><div>On Fast Talk, Direk Cathy was asked, <a href='/videos/11828/fast-talk-with-cathy-garcia-molina-naging-totoo-nga-ba-ang-on-screen-team-up-nina-john-lloyd-cruz-at/'>“<i>unang reaksiyon mo sa report na naging totohanan daw ang </i>John Lloyd-Bea Alonzo love team,</a>” and she answers, “No.”</div>
