EXCLUSIVE: Ryan Bang gets featured on Korea’s top TV network

<div><img src='' alt='053016-RyanBang_PUSH.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Korean star Ryan Bang is set to be featured on TV network KBS’ <i>Screening Humanity</i> show from May 30 to June 3.</div><div><br/></div><div>In an exclusive interview with Ryan, he related that he was tapped for the documentary last March. </div><div><br/></div><div>He said the KBS team shot his feature for an entire month starting from April to May.</div><div><br/></div><div>The show’s management was actually the one who reached out to Ryan. </div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Siguro dahil doon sa gumawa kami ng ‘Shopping’</i> (music video),<i> narinig nila [ako] so nag-contact sa amin na gusto nila ako i-feature kaya po ako gumawa ng ‘Screening Humanity,’</i>” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>What many probably do not know is that Screening Humanity was the same show that paved the way for <i>Pambansang Krung Krung</i> Sandara Park to make it into the Korean scene back in 2004.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Korean-born comedian shared that he was really very excited while they were shooting here for the show.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Kasi nung habang shinoo-shoot ako, first time po kasi ako ipapalabas sa Korean TV na nationwide and parang naramdaman ko na <a href='http://pinoybigbrother.com'>Pinoy Big Brother </a>[ulit], na parang bago pa lang ako sa<a href='http://showtime.abs-cbn.com'> Showtime</a>, bago pa lang ako sa <a href='http://bananasundae.abs-cbn.com'>Banana Sundae</a>. Parang <a href='http://pinoybigbrother.com'>Pinoy Big Brother</a> ang nararamdaman kasi isang buwan nila kong sinusundan,”</i> revealed Ryan.</div><div><br/></div><div>How did the shooting go about?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Ginawa ko itong totoo, kung parang sino talaga ako pinapakita ko lahat. Ine-explain ko din kung gaano ko ka-mahal ang Pilipinas, sobrang pasalamat ko sa Pilipinas. Tsaka gusto ko talaga i-promote sa </i>Korea <i>na maganda saka mabait, sobrang </i>safe <i>sa Pilipinas. Sobrang masarap nakatira dito,</i>” he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Ryan also stressed that the reason why he even accepted the project was so he can promote the Philippines to a wider Korean audience.</div><div><br/></div><div>The <i><a href='http://bananasundae.abs-cbn.com'>Banana Sundae</a></i> star admitted that there are now offers from KBS for him to appear in a number of shows in Korea.</div><div><br/></div><div>“Actually <i>kinausap ko nga po ngayon. Meron ako mga </i>guesting <i>konti. Hindi pa siyempre sigurado, hindi ko pa masabi kung anong</i> show,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Apparently, there have been offers for him to be part of the local Korean entertainment scene in the past. </div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Dati kasi may mga tinatanggihan akong offer ng </i>Korea <i>pero ngayong siguro tatanggap ako guesting pero hindi ko ibig sabihin na iiwan ko ang Pilipinas, imposibleng mangyari ‘yun. Siguro mag-guesting ako saglit doon pero babalik talaga ako sa Pilipinas,</i>” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Ryan’s local fans who might want to see his Screening Humanity feature may access it via YouTube.</div>
