Piolo Pascual: ‘I’m never confident as an actor’

Because when I worked in the States, <i>yun yung una kong napag-aralan—</i>how to value hard work.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Asked how confident he is as an actor, Piolo said, “I’m never confident as an actor. I like the feeling of being intimidated. I like the feeling of being unsure…<i> Gusto ko dun nanggagaling ang</i> excitement. From your gut, <i>yung</i> nervousness, <i>yung</i> fear.”</div><div><br/></div><div>In terms of “kagwapuhan” Piolo said, <i>“lumaki kasi akong hindi pogi </i>Tito Boy <i>e</i>, so I never really look at myself as standout or <i>pogi</i> in that sense. I was never a heartthrob in school.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Piolo said he is grateful and just wants the opportunity to continue what he’s doing. If there’s a chance he can be do more, he says he wants to<i> “gusto kong mabigyan ng break yung mga bata na nag-a-aspire magkaroon ng trabaho bilang scriptwriter, bilang direktor…</i> It’s one way of giving back to the industry that gave me life.” </div><div><br/></div><div>He added that given the chance to pursue an international career, “I want ABS-CBN there.” </div><div><br/></div><div>On Fast Talk, Piolo chooses both sex and a box office hit movie.
