According to Martin, when he checks into a hotel, “kung baduy yung furniture tinatanggal ko, iniiwan ko lang sa hallway. Kung pangit yung arrangement. Some frames over the bed are crooked, I cant sleep. If the door doesn't close properly, I can’t sleep. If the drawer doesn't close, I can’t sleep.” </div><div><br/></div><div>Another revelation about him is that he was bullied as a child. “I was one of the most bullied people in school because I wore a belt and shoes. Because they thought belt and shoes meant mayaman ka, tapos artista yung daddy ko… I would get beaten up for my lunch money, so my twin sister Vickie would defend me in school. The following day mas nabugbog ako because nadefend ako ng babae.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Host Boy Abunda complimented Martin for his generosity saying that, “generosity sets Martin apart” and that Martin is not afraid to share his talent. Martin will be having a US Tour entitled Martin Was Here to celebrate 34 years in the business and to a benefit concert for patients diagnosed with Leukemia.</div><div><br/></div><div>Martin said, “I love what I do Boy, I really do. I will sing at a drop of a hat. There are no big gigs, there are no small gigs for me.”</div><div><br/></div>
