“No. Not at all,” sabi agad ni Dawn.
“I thought it was an exciting project and I’ve long been wanting to work with Piolo.
“I think that this particular material is timely. Kaya nu’ng sinabi nila na sa akin nila ibibigay tapos si Piolo ang kasama ko, I really considered that a great honor.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity also for me to do naman something different,” paliwanag niya.
I want to do something lighter para naman I can also explore my other facilities as an actress.”
First time nakatrabaho ni Dawn ang baguhang director na si Gino. Kumusta bang ka-trabaho ang director?
“When we were starting and then I already knew what the project was going to be like and then I said, ‘Who’s going to be the director?’ And then they mentioned his name. I was like, ‘Parang ang bata, because I was like thinking maybe a director that’s more mature, who would probably understand what a 40-something-year-old woman goes through.
“But they said, ‘No, no, no. This is the director that we think is bagay. And then I met him and then we were looking through the script and then as were were in the process of creating, I really realize that he really is the right one for the job. And I am so glad that it is Gino,” dire-diretso niyang kuwento.
“There is so much I have learned actually in doing this film with him. I think, more than he will learn from me, I am the one that’s learn so much in doing this film, working with Gino.
“And (I’m) so grateful to Star Cinema, really. For this project, for this kind of opportunity. To work with these guys I’m really, really grateful.
“How many 47-year-old women can actually say that they’re doing a film like this and working with young folks like they are? It’s only a few and I really consider myself really fortunate,” masaya niyang pahayag.
