On Tonight with Boy Abunda, volleyball star players of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers’ Mika Reyes and Kianna Dy revealed what kind of energy they bring to the court when they are up against their arch rival Ateneo De Manila University’s Lady Eagles. “We prepare for each team equally, parang hindi namin iniisip na… pero nandun pa rin yung rivalry kasi ever since naman nandun yun,” said Kianna, who is awarded this year’s Finals Most Valuable Player.
When they won the championship last April 30 against the Lady Eagles, Mika said their attitude that time was, “Do or die. Fearless. Have fun.”
Host Boy Abunda also asked them, “ano ang ginagalang ninyo sa laro ng Ateneo?” Mika answered, “hindi po sila nagpapatalo especially nung game two.” Kianna said, “same din. Kasi nung game two nauna kami ng two sets, tapos talagang gusto nilang kunin yung game na yun.”
The “beautiful and powerful” volleyball stars said they have no special diet except that they don't eat junk food and soft drinks. “More on carbs, protein,” said Mika.
On Fast Talk, Mika is asked if she’s ready to fall in love again and she said, “yes.” Kianna also completed the phrase, “I will never say ___ ,” by filling it with the word “never.”
