Rita Avila receives another letter from Pope Francis because of her new book
040716-RitaAvila_PUSH.jpgMonsignor Peter B. Wells, an official of the Vatican Secretariat of State, sent a letter to actress-author Rita Avila which contains a message from Pope Francis for the release of her second book for children. Rita recently published a coloring book version of “The Invisible Wings” which aims to encourage children to do more good things.

"The Holy Father wishes me to thank you for letter and the book which you sent him. He appreciates the devoted sentiments which prompted you to share your work with him.

"His Holiness will remember you in his prayers and he invokes upon you God's blessing of joy and peace,” the letter stated.

Rita, in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual, said that she values the Pope’s second letter very much.

Rita also said her books helped her overcome the loss of her baby Elia Jesu, who was just three months old when he passed away, ten years ago.
