EXCLUSIVE: Liza Dino gives an update on their IVF procedure
040716-LizaDino_PUSH.jpgHaving tied the knot in the United States last December 2014, celebrity couple Aiza Seguerra and Liza Dino had expressed their intention of undergoing in vitro fertilization or IVF in order to have their own baby.

Last Tuesday night, April 5, at the Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival press conference, Liza exclusively updated PUSH.com.ph about this endeavor.

“Actually from October to December, we are flying to the US to get prepped up for the procedure. Aiza will be undergoing a lot of clinic visits to prepare him for that. We are hoping that by the end of the year, sana maging successful ‘yung process and ‘yun, magkaroon na kami ng additional baby sa family,” she said.

Sharing how excited their family is, Liza added, “It’s another step towards building our little family. It’s always nice to have somebody na Aiza can call his own child and our daughter has been [rearing] to have another brother or sister. As in Santa’s wish niya ‘yun.”

However, Liza also admitted feeling scared that the procedure will not become successful as it is not a 100% guarantee. Nonetheless, they remain hopeful.

“Nakakatakot din kasi medyo mahal ‘yung procedure so nakakatakot na hindi maging successful… Oo, actually hindi talaga siya guaranteed but since I’ve had a full term pregnancy, mas malaki ‘yung tsansa na it’s going to be successful so we’re crossing our fingers,” she said.

Earlier, Liza talked about taking the opportunity to travel and bond with her family before they return to work. According to her, one of Aiza’s working perks is being able to travel so they can tag along and take a day or two to have fun. Last month, the couple went to Peru during the course Aiza’s US trip while recently, the whole family flew to Macau and Singapore where they endorsed a presidential candidate. After which, they went to Disneyland and Universal Studios to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.

“We try to inject family bonding moments because siyempre ‘pag nandito ka na sa Maynila, sunud-sunod ang trabaho especially with Aiza, halos araw-araw may trabaho siya so it’s nice to have that kind of private time na we can spend na hindi kami masyadong nag-iisip ng work niya after,” she said.
