On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Tubig at Langis star Cristine Reyes shied away from saying what lesson she’s learnt from the recent controversy she had with actress Vivian Velez. “Better to be just quiet,” said Cristine.
Cristine’s husband, half-Persian martial arts trainer Ali Khatibi, recently joined a “superbod competition.” Cristine said she supports Ali. “Like last Sunday after ko mag-ASAP, pumunta ako sa challenge nila sa (The) Fort. I’m with Amarah.”
Cristine agreed there are a lot of sexy and beautiful girls in the competition but that she doesn't get jealous over them. “Hindi naman. Very friendly naman yung mga girls, pag nakikita nila ako lumalapit sila sa akin and (kay) Amarah.”
Cristine and Ali tied the knot last January 27. Asked by host Boy Abunda, “are you discovering certain things na hindi niyo noon nakikita? How are you guys doing?” Cristine replied, “right now, I can say marami kang madidiscover sa partner mo kapag nagsama na talaga kayo. Kasi right now ang dami kong nadidiscover kay Ali na talagang he needs me and may mga times naman na I need Ali. Like ako kaya ko mag-organize ng isang week na schedule niya, may time pa yun, bookings, flights and all…mga kakainin niya sa bahay…”
Cristine explained Ali can’t do that for her. On the other hand, Cristine said, “napakagaling niya makipag-communicate with people. Ako naman kasi, dun ako hindi okay.”
