Nyoy Volante shares how he won the heart of Mikkie Bradshaw’s daughter

Ngayon parang nawala kasi yun, nabura,</i>” he shared during their interview on morning talk show <i><a href='http://magandangbuhay.abs-cbn.com'>Magandang Buhay. </a></i></div><div><br/></div><div><a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/58307/instastalker-nyoy-volante-marries-mikkie-bradshaw'>READ: Nyoy Volante marries Mikkie Bradshaw</a></div><div><br/></div><div>Nyoy added that even though his workload got heavier now that their married, Mikkie has become more understanding. </div><div><br/></div><div>On the other hand, Mikkie admitted that Nyoy’s relationship with her daughter Sofie was a big deal breaker in their relationship. Both Nyoy and Mikkie have children from their previous relationships.</div><div><br/></div><div>“It would be a deal breaker if my daughter doesn’t accept someone that I am dating. So two weeks <i>pa lang kaming</i> [together],” Mikkie shared, to which Nyoy added, “we decided <i>na i-introduce na ako kay Sofie.” </i></div><div>Nyoy also shared how he became close with Sofie. </div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Sa totoo lang nung nagkita kami sabi ko, ‘Bahala na kung ano mangyari basta ako makiki-relate ako sa kanya kung paano ako nakiki-relate sa mga tao, sa bata’. Natural lang, titignan ko kasi ayaw ko siyang pilitin, ayoko siyang piliting magustuhan ako,”</i> he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Nyoy said it was a normal encounter and within 10 minutes they became playmates. Mikkie also gave him the permission to be a father figure to Sofie because, <i>“Ever since alam ko talaga na she needed a father figure to complete the story, the circle, if you may, ng family namin</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Mikkie also saw Nyoy was very ‘level-headed’ so she allowed him in helping her discipline her daughter.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“I agree naman with his moral standards, yung beliefs niya so I trust naman talaga na whatever discipline he instills is what I would do as well, baka mas strict lang siya,”</i> Mikkie said.</div>
