Ylona Garcia, one half of teen power tandem BaiLona, will be releasing her first solo album this May.
After being a big winner, together with her love team Bailey May, on the recently concluded Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016 for their interpretation of O Pag-Ibig, Ylona says her album is almost ready.
“It’s amazing! I’ve always dreamt of having my own album and not too many people could be given an opportunity like that. So I’m really amazing and I’m really thankful,” she said about how she feels on having an album.
Some fans might get a little sad over Ylona’s revelation that she won't be doing a collaboration with Bailey on her album but she said it does not mean it won't happen in the future.
“Yeah we’ll see basta stay stuned. Lapit na guys,” she said.
About her album, Ylona shared it is going to have some pop, RnB and soul songs, since those are her genres.
Apart from singing, Ylona also wrote some of the songs on her album. But she did have collaborations specifically with acclaimed singer-songwriter Jamie Rivera, who composed and produced one of her songs.
Now, aside from her album, fans can also catch the young singer on her upcoming debut film Bloody Crayons with Iñigo Pascual, Julia Barretto and other teen stars.
