Itchyworms, Bailona win big in Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016
042516-ppop_main.jpgFifteen new OPM songs were performed during the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016 held on April 24, Sunday at the Kia Theater in Quezon City.  

Awarded the top prize was "Dalawang Letra" written by former Pinoy Dream Academy contestant Davey Langit and was interpreted by the band Itchyworms. 

Second Best Song went to “Monumento” written by Junjee Marcelo and interpreted by Kris Lawrence and Kyla. 


Third place went to David Dimaguila’s “Laban Pa” interpreted by KZ and JayR.
 

Fourth Best Song was awarded to Agatha and Melvin Morallos for the song “Tama Lang” which was performed by Jolina Magdangal. 


Fifth Best Song went to “Parang Tayo, Parang Hindi” which was written by Marlon Barnuevo and interpreted by Michael Pangilinan ang Angeline Quinto. 


Star Music Listener Award went to Aries Sales’ “Nyebe” which was interpreted by Kaye Cal. 


MOR101, TFC Choice, One Music Philippines, and Best Music Video went to "O Pag-ibig" by Honlani Rabe and Jack Rufo which was interpreted by Bailey May and Ylona Garcia.


The show was opened by OPM great Gary Valenciano and was hosted by Robi Domingo, Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano. 

The competitions’ judges included Gary V, Verni Varga, Yeng Constantino and Piolo Pascual.
