EXCLUSIVE: Tawag ng Tanghalan semi-finalists reveal who they think are their biggest competitors

<div><img src='' alt='040216-tnt_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>In an exclusive interview with <a href='http://www.push.abs-cbn.com'>PUSH.com.ph</a> (Website link:), <i><a href='http://showtime.abs-cbn.com'>It’s Showtime</a></i>’s <i><a href='http://tawagngtanghalan.abs-cbn.com'>Tawag ng Tanghalan</a></i> semi-finalists—namely Mary Gidget Dela Llana, Rachel Gabreza, Jaime Navarro, Dominador Alviola Jr. and Maricel Callo—talked about their preparations for the grand finals, as well as whom they think is their biggest competitor in the singing contest. </div><div><br/></div><div>While Mary Gidget and Rachel said that they opted to get a good rest in order to condition their voices, Jaime and Maricel, aside from resting, said that they would spend time rehearsing the songs. Dominador, on the other hand, said that he would just relax.</div><div><br/></div><div>When asked about their biggest competitors in the singing contest, Mary Gidget answered that it was herself. “<i>Sarili ko po talaga kasi hindi mo alam kung papalpak ka po ba sa darating na contest o kung makakalimutan ‘yung lyrics, kung pipiyok ka ba, kung ma-off-key ka. ‘Yun po, kaya nakakatakot po talaga.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Although she agreed with Mary Gidget, Rachel referred to everyone as her biggest competitors, citing their varying singing styles. She said, “<i>Same as her pero para maiba naman, lahat po kami biggest ano ko po (competitors) sila po kasi iba-iba po kasi kami ng genre, iba-iba kami ng kung panong style ng pag-awit.</i>” Jaime agreed with Rachel, adding it is a challenge for them to perfect the song.</div><div><br/></div><div>But while Dominador, like Jaime and Rachel, also answered all four of his contenders, Maricel admitted that she sees Mary Gidget as her biggest competitor. “<i>To be honest, lahat po kami magagaling pero sa nakikita ko, honestly lang po, si Gidget.
