041916-Lea-salonga_PUSH.jpgThe CW Television Network uploaded a trailer of the season finale of the comedy TV musical “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” on Youtube last April 15. In the video, a scene of Lea Salonga’s guest appearance was shown. Lea portrays the role of Myrna, Josh’s aunt who will sing in a wedding.

Executive producer Aline Brosh McKenna shared that Vincent Rodriguez, the Filipino-American actor who plays the role of Josh was so happy when he found out that the Broadway superstar will be appearing in their show.

“Vincent Rodriguez who plays Josh, was so excited when he found out that Lea Salonga was gonna be in the episode that he fainted!” she said in the video.

Before airing the final episode, Lea took over Entertainment Weekly’s Instagram page and made a virtual tour of her experience in working in the said series. She first took photos with cast members Rachel Bloom (Rebecca) and Santino Fontano (Greg).

“We three don't have a scene together, so I needed to take advantage of this,” she wrote.

She also took photos with Vincent, Gabrielle Ruiz, Amy Hill, Coryn Mabalot and Alberto Isaac.
