Reel to real life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre surely had a grand time when they visited Paris as part of their side trip during the European leg of their JaDine In Love World Tour.
During the second episode of their four-part Sunday special titled JaDine Flying High On Love, the couple gave a glimpse of their great Parisian adventure which involved visiting the top tourist destinations. This included the Arc du Triomphe, the Pont des Arts bridge, Jardin du Luxembourg, The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower where they even had a dinner date.
The two even left their own lock on the bridge after writing their names and the word “always.”
“Always is our forever,” briefly explained by Nadine.
James, for his part, reasoned, “It’s impossible to promise anything forever but always is more realistic.”
The couple’s romantic picnic in Paris has previously made headlines, but it was only during that episode when it was fully elaborated.
Turns out that James chose a secluded area at the Jardin du Luxembourg called the Medici Fountain to setup his surprise for Nadine.
“I just wanted a place that is kind of secluded. So I chose the Medici Fountain and we had picnic there,” shared James during the feature.
He added, “I “really want to give her a romantic surprise while in Paris that she will never forget.
Their morning picnic had them eating cold cuts and cheese for breakfast by a fountain.
“It’s a picnic and with flowers. The flowers are really beautiful. I have to bring it home,” blurted Nadine.
Apparently, as they were being shot for the Sunday feature, some guard tried to shoo away the cameras for James and Nadine.
“There’s some kind of guard or ranger and he asked all the cameras to go away. And he said to us ‘Bon appetit,” he recalled. “When he saw us having our romantic breakfast and picnic he just said, Continue, enjoy!’”
According to the couple, being in Paris has allowed them to finally take a breather and enjoy some much-needed adventure.
“[Our relationship] it’s already strong. But being in Paris together and it’s the most romantic place in the world I guess we have a lot of new experiences,” said Nadine.
Towards the end of the episode, Nadine thanked James for the surprise which she found “really cute.”
As a parting message, James said, “The place is really romantic but it’s really the small things that you do to make it sweet… to make it romantic. My promise is even if we’re not here in the most romantic place in the world that everyday will still be romantic. Little things.”
