Now that his horror comedy Echorsis finally hit theaters starting April 13, Kean Cipriano admitted he can now fully concentrate on the popular Primetime Bida soap Dolce Amore. With his role as older brother Binggoy to Enrique Gil’s character Tenten, Kean admitted that he can relate to his onscreen character. "Naniniwala naman ako na every character I portray, every role I do, meron yung certain part of me. Hindi siya yung like tipo na it’s totally not me. Alam mo yun. As an actor proseso ko naman ito. I keep it like this, parang kukuha ako ng parte ko, ilalagay ko sa character na yun. So yung kulit ni Binggoy ganun ako. Ganun yung extreme ko sa ibang tao. Kumbaga ibang side ko siya. Part siya ng pagkatao ko. Every role na gagawin ko, may part ng pagkatao ko yun,” he told Push.com.ph.
The 28-year-old musician-actor says everything has been light and easy while working on the Dolce Amore set. "Masaya. Lahat kami excited kami every taping day na mag-taping kasi makikita namin yung isa’t isa, yung pamilya namin na Ibarra. Yung pamilya Ibarra sinasabi talaga namin na pamilya talaga kami. Kumbaga effortlessly nagawa namin yun. Parang first day ng shoot namin sabi ni direk Bobot (Mortiz), ‘Ang ganda ng pakiramdam ah, parang hindi tayo nagtratrabaho ah!’ Nabuo yung vibe. Kung ano yung relationship namin sa screen, na-heighten yun kasi siyempre TV and may script and everything but you’ll definitely see us like that in real life,” he admitted.
Working closely with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil almost everyday, Kean revealed that the popular love team are every bit as close even when the cameras aren’t rolling. "Well, they are sweet. Yes they’re a very beautiful couple, like as a team up rather,” he shared. When asked if his own character Binggoy will have its own love team partner, Kean said he is hoping for it. "I don’t know. I’ve been complaining about it (laughs). So sabi ko bakit wala akong kaano dito sa script? Why not? You know Kuya Binggoy is feeling lonely sometimes so why not?” he added.
