Janella Salvador on cancelling debut: ‘I felt weird spending so much just for one night just to look

Parang nakapos kami sa time and I felt weird spending so much just for one night just to look pretty and all.” </i></div><div><br/></div><div>Asked what she would have wanted to do to celebrate her 18th birthday, Janella said, “I probably want to travel.” She added, “honestly, I just came from Japan. I want to go back for vacation.” </div><div><br/></div><div>She also thanked her mom who threw her a surprise debut. “<i>When they asked me a message for my mom, wala akong nasabi kasi I was still stunned. I really want to thank her because alam ko the planning took so much. Kasi when I was planning with them nahirapan ako, paano pa kaya she shouldered everything.” </i></div><div><br/></div><div>Host Boy Abunda also asked her, “how does it feel to turn 18,” to which Janella answers,<i> “I don't really know. Before 18, you always say I want to turn 18 na, because I want to do this, I want to do that but when you actually turn 18, it’s not an instant thing naman. It’s probably a gradual thing na you’re going to feel. Pero it made me think I should be more responsible with my actions.” </i></div><div><br/></div><div>To the question, <i><a href='/videos/9710/is-janella-salvador-ready-to-fall-in-love/'>“are u ready to fall in love at 18,”</a></i> Janella said, “<i>right now, I’m not yet focused on that. I believe before you fall in love, you have to fix yourself first cause you can’t be a responsible partner din naman if you can’t be a responsible person.”</i></div>
