Cristine Reyes says she will no longer be affected by issues
030916-CristineReyes_PUSH.jpgAfter the issue pinpointing her attitude as the reason why Tubig at Langis co-star Vivian Velez tendered her irrevocable resignation from the show last March 6, Cristine Reyes finally released her own official statement (through her Viva management) to the media after her family members and co-stars rallied to clear her name from the issue.

The 27-year-old actress then followed it up by posting a thank you message on her Instagram account that same night along with a photo with the quote “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. James 1:12.”

Cristine first chose to thank her Tubig at Langis co-stars Zanjoe Marudo, Isabelle Daza, Dionne Monsanto, and Nadia Montenegro as well as the staff followed by her own family members.

“I’d like to thank my co-star, director and our staff, specifically @TartCarlos, @DionneMonsanto, @RaymsOcampo, Boss Tet our Executive Producer, Boss Mamu our Production Manager and our Business Unit Head Dir. Ruel S. Bayani for standing by the truth and guiding me to be the better person in the midst of this trying situation.

“Thank you for checking up on me and for all the encouraging words Zanjoe, Belle, Nadia and Yanna.

“Thank you Viva Management specially my handler Barbie. My manager and second mom Veronique del Rosario-Corpus and Dir. John Corpus. You guys are truly family.

“And lastly to my family. Ali thank you for being my pilar (sic). AS a new family, we are immediately faced by something you are not used to. But you are always by my side. Thank you. Truly, it is during these times that the people who truly care for you stay by your side. Thank you Ate Ara and to my family.”

The Tubig at Langis star ended her lengthy post with how she now chooses to view the whole issue in a better light. She also said she will post more details via her Facebook page.

“I will no longer be shaken by negativity. I know that as long as the people I love know the truth, that is all that matters. It is at these moments that I am called to be a better person, not just for myself but for my daughter. (Facebook/CristineReyes) Full Details!”
