Dennis Trillo says Jennylyn Mercado is one of his inspirations

<div><img src='' alt='030816-DennisTrillo_PUSH.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>After being declared one of two winners for the Movie Actor of the Year award at the PMPC Star Awards for Movies held last March 6, Dennis Trillo admitted it was an honor already for him to be nominated alongside other notable actors like John Arcilla (<i>Heneral Luna</i>), Jericho Rosales (<i>Walang Forever</i>), John Lloyd Cruz (<i>Honor Thy Father</i>), and JM De Guzman (<i>Tandem</i>).</div><div><br/></div><div>Dennis says he does not mind sharing with the award with Piolo Pascual (<i>Silong</i>) who he also considers as stiff competition. <i>'Yung nangyaring yun, yun pa lang puwede ko na maipagmalaki sa buong buhay ko nakasama ko yung mga magagaling na artistang yun sa kategorya na yun. Okay na ako dun. Parang bonus na lang din yun (manalo) dahil ako tagahanga din ako ng mga kasama ko sa category. Para sa aming lahat yun dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanila wala din ako rito. Inspirasyon ko sila. Lahat naman kami naghirap dun,</i>” he admitted during the awards night held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 34-year-old actor who has yet to admit whether he and former girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado have gotten back together again, said he wants to share his award with her. The couple also went to the scenic island of Batanes together recently. <i>'Siyempre isa siya sa mga inspirasyon at saka sumusuporta sa akin,” </i>he admits. Dennis says he was also able to visit Jen when she was hospitalized a few days ago.<i> 'Okay na siya. Nakauwi na. Nagpapahinga. Nagpapagaling,</i>” he added.</div>
