Sofia relayed that her brother has always been interested in acting. "Star Creatives family, thank you for getting him. Y'un talaga siya eh every time na nagta-taping ako nandon siya, nanonood siya. [Sabi niya] 'Ate gusto ko artista, gusto ko artista' sabi ko 'Okay.' Feeling ko gustong-gusto niya 'yung ginagawa niya and everyday sasabihin niya sa akin 'Ate taping mo tomorrow, taping mo tomorrow.' Ang cute niya, para siyang normal talaga na tao na gustong-gusto niya ang ginagawa niya," she said.
When asked about her reaction now that more and more children with down syndrome are being given the opportunity to star in television shows here and abroad, she remarked, "Yeah kami naman po kasi hindi namin siya tinago, love na love ko 'yung brother ko na 'yun." Did her brother ask for advice when it comes to acting from her? "Hindi naman po. Kung ano siya sa TV, ganon din po siya in person."
Meanwhile, Sofia is also busy with her new projects. The teen actress relayed that she's already done with workshops for her new movie with the other Kapamilya teen stars. "We're going to start this March and tapos na rin kami sa workshop so sana talaga matuloy talaga siya this year." She is also gearing up for a new series this year with Diego Loyzaga. "I'm still praying for it though, sana mag-start na kami this April for the taping."
The teen actress will also be turning 18 this year and he said that she wants to travel. When it comed to having a party, she said that she wants to celebrate it in a simple way. "Ako po kasi I'm not the type of a person na gusto big event. Simple lang talaga. I want to travel, I want to go to Paris this year when I turn 18 alone."
