Solenn Heussaff on plans after showbiz: ‘Hindi ako Nora Aunor’

<div><img src='' alt='032716-Solenn_headline.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>After launching her fragrance line earlier this year, Solenn Heussaff admitted she has plans to branch out into other businesses as well. </div><div><br/></div><div>'I really want my name to be a brand<i> kasi</i> I studied fashion designing and I love visual arts and I’m the type <i>na</i> I like to try new things. So <i>kung puwede ako mag</i>-touch <i>ng everything</i>, I’m a person that loves to learn. <i>Gagawin ko lahat</i>. <i>Baka</i> in the future may fashion line<i> kasi</i> fashion designer <i>talaga ako</i>,” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>The multi-talented artist will have a two-month long art exhibit starting April 7 at the Pineapple Lab in Makati. </div><div><br/></div><div>'For now may 27 pieces <i>na malaki </i>and chairs <i>kasi</i> I design furniture din and embroidered carpets. I can’t wait for that. Imagine four years. It’s so hard to find time <i>kasi</i> to paint. Pag nag-paint <i>ako kailangan</i> in the mood ako. There was one year where I won’t even touch a brush <i>kasi</i> I’m not in the mood,” she revealed. </div><div><br/></div><div>The Fil-French beauty also expressed why she wants to also focus on her interests outside of showbiz. </div><div>'For me you really need to know how to diversify yourself. <i>Kasi</i> nowadays di ba millenial era? People do so many things so you really need to try and touch a little bit of everything. <i>Siyempre naman</i> showbiz is a certain amount of years lang unless <i>isang </i>Nora Aunor ka. <i>Hindi ako</i> Nora Aunor so I won’t be for life in this industry. <i>Siyempre naman</i> I’m still enjoying it and I’m still learning a lot from it and I still want to be in it.<i> Pero kung may</i> time <i>ako na gumawa ng ibang</i> things I will do that din. I love to always meet new people and discover new things. <i>Kasi</i> life is a learning process and that’s what makes me happy,” she explained. </div><div><br/></div><div>Solenn said being self-aware of her strengths as a performer is an advantage. </div><div>'<i>Siyempre naman</i> I’m grateful but I do a lot of everything. I’m not excellent at anything. Like there’s not one thing I’m <i>angat</i> at. Like I can sing but I’m not a singer. I can paint but I’m not a selling artist. <i>Yung ganun</i>?” she added.  </div><div><br/></div><div>As she gets ready to enter married life soon, the 30-year-old model-actress divulged nothing will change when it comes to her busy lifestyle. </div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Parang</i> I’ll only get tired when I stop <i>kasi</i> I noticed <i>na pagod talaga ako, ganun</i>. But if you don’t stop <i>parang</i> I get bored when I’m not doing anything. When I’m not working, <i>pag nasa bahay ako</i> I do my own groceries. I do my own food, I wash my own dishes, I pay my own bills. <i>Wala akong</i> secretary or assistant. <i>Ako lang sa</i> house so I’m the one who prepares <i>baon</i> for Nico (her fiance). I wake up early for breakfast before he goes to work.  <i>Parang nanay ako</i> (laughs). For his lunch sa office kasi healthy siya so obsessed <i>ako sa mga</i> cute little <i>baons</i> and<i> lalagyan so marami akong ibang lalagyan sa bahay</i> and I really do the presentation. That’s my pleasure. <i>Kahit mag-isa ako sa bahay</i>, when I eat I plate it. <i>Hindi lang yung basta ganun</i>, I plate it talaga para <i>maganda</i> <i>yung kinakain ko</i>. My mom and my dad always taught me how to cook and do things on our own,” Solenn said.</div>
