Solenn Heussaff on plans after showbiz: ‘Hindi ako Nora Aunor’
032716-Solenn_headline.jpgAfter launching her fragrance line earlier this year, Solenn Heussaff admitted she has plans to branch out into other businesses as well.

"I really want my name to be a brand kasi I studied fashion designing and I love visual arts and I’m the type na I like to try new things. So kung puwede ako mag-touch ng everything, I’m a person that loves to learn. Gagawin ko lahat. Baka in the future may fashion line kasi fashion designer talaga ako,” she shared.

The multi-talented artist will have a two-month long art exhibit starting April 7 at the Pineapple Lab in Makati.

"For now may 27 pieces na malaki and chairs kasi I design furniture din and embroidered carpets. I can’t wait for that. Imagine four years. It’s so hard to find time kasi to paint. Pag nag-paint ako kailangan in the mood ako. There was one year where I won’t even touch a brush kasi I’m not in the mood,” she revealed.

The Fil-French beauty also expressed why she wants to also focus on her interests outside of showbiz.
"For me you really need to know how to diversify yourself. Kasi nowadays di ba millenial era? People do so many things so you really need to try and touch a little bit of everything. Siyempre naman showbiz is a certain amount of years lang unless isang Nora Aunor ka. Hindi ako Nora Aunor so I won’t be for life in this industry. Siyempre naman I’m still enjoying it and I’m still learning a lot from it and I still want to be in it. Pero kung may time ako na gumawa ng ibang things I will do that din. I love to always meet new people and discover new things. Kasi life is a learning process and that’s what makes me happy,” she explained.

Solenn said being self-aware of her strengths as a performer is an advantage.
"Siyempre naman I’m grateful but I do a lot of everything. I’m not excellent at anything. Like there’s not one thing I’m angat at. Like I can sing but I’m not a singer. I can paint but I’m not a selling artist. Yung ganun?” she added.

As she gets ready to enter married life soon, the 30-year-old model-actress divulged nothing will change when it comes to her busy lifestyle.

"Parang I’ll only get tired when I stop kasi I noticed na pagod talaga ako, ganun. But if you don’t stop parang I get bored when I’m not doing anything. When I’m not working, pag nasa bahay ako I do my own groceries. I do my own food, I wash my own dishes, I pay my own bills. Wala akong secretary or assistant. Ako lang sa house so I’m the one who prepares baon for Nico (her fiance). I wake up early for breakfast before he goes to work.  Parang nanay ako (laughs). For his lunch sa office kasi healthy siya so obsessed ako sa mga cute little baons and lalagyan so marami akong ibang lalagyan sa bahay and I really do the presentation. That’s my pleasure. Kahit mag-isa ako sa bahay, when I eat I plate it. Hindi lang yung basta ganun, I plate it talaga para maganda yung kinakain ko. My mom and my dad always taught me how to cook and do things on our own,” Solenn said.
