Jona explains why she switched networks for Star Music
032316-Jona_PUSH.jpgOn Tonight with Boy Abunda, Jona who sang her rendition of “I Will Survive” for the Kapamilya serye We Will Survive, confirmed she is now a “recording artist of Star Music” under ABS-CBN.

Jona explained that she and her former network parted amicably.

From Jonalyn, she has also changed her name to Jona. Asked about the change, Jona said, “decision po ito ng Star Music. It’s part of the branding bilang singer nga po ako dito sa Kapamilya network … kay Sir Roxy (Liquigan) po talaga nanggaling ang desisyon na po yun.”

Jona is also part of the PPop Himig Handog Love Songs. She interpreted the song of Dante Bantatua entitled “Maghihintay Ako.”
