Matteo Guidicelli admitted that he is enjoying the album tour for his self-titled record. “[It’s] very good, we’re going around to different places. The last leg we have we performed in Shangri-la Plaza, it’s very fun and it’s nice because this album tour hindi siya minus one eh, I really have live instruments around me so it’s fun,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.
Is he taking the tour outside of the country? “So far not yet I don’t know but right now I am really busy with Dolce Amore and my other soap Single Single (season 2) it’s starting very soon so it’s a busy day so I try to do as much as I can because I love the album and I love the music so I always try to sneak it in always.”
His portrayal of Gian Carlo, the Italian character in the primetime series Dolce Amore, has been receiving good reviews from viewers. When asked about his reaction to the good feedback, he responded, “Very nice dahil I never expected na I will get to do something like this but it’s not me it’s the people around me that makes it possible, direk Richard (Arellano) and my talent coaches on set sila mismo ang tumulong sa akin talaga na maging okay ‘yung eksena namin so it’s all up to them. I have two coaches and they are just amazing.”
Matteo extended his gratitude to the LizQuen fans who have been very supportive of him despite the fact that he is the ka-love triangle of Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano on the show. “You know the LizQuen fans, very nice and very accepting, thank you for not being mad. They are very supportive, sila mismo nag twe-tweet, welcoming me and all that stuff so it’s going to be a fun show all good vibes.”

I’m going to Cebu this Holy Week, it’s also my birthday March 26.” Matteo also revealed that he will be opening a restaurant in Cebu this month. “I’m also opening a restaurant in Cebu, it’s an Italian restaurant it’s called Trattoria de Johnny, it’s like carinderia ni Matteo, so Trattoria de Johnny, Johnny is my grandfather’s name [it’s opening] March 28 in Cebu. It’s a lot of work, my sister and dad are the ones focusing there, yun masaya siya so very excited. I’m going to go there Sunday to check out the place to give out my critiques and all that stuff so ayun,” he shared.
