Following her sister Anne Curtis’s Instagram post where actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith was seen with a non-showbiz guy, the TV5 star shared that she is currently very happy during the advanced screening of the Ang Panday remake last Tuesday night, February 23.
Although she refused to talk about it in length, Jasmine told members of the press, “I’m a very happy person right now. Everything is going well in my personal life so there’s nothing to complain about.”
Since things are going well for her career and personal life, Jasmine was also asked if she wishes to work with her sister in the future. “Yeah, alam mo, it will come around like we’ve worked together in a commercial, I cameo-d sa music video niya. Slowly but surely. I think it has to be a really good project for us to work together. Siyempre, ayaw naman namin ‘yung masabi lang na nagkatrabaho lang kami, di ba? Dapat maganda ‘yung script, maganda ‘yung story, maganda ‘yung pagkalatag ng lahat as part of the project. But hanggang wala pa, okay lang. It’s not naman something that we, parang, kailangan mangyari siya. If it comes around, it comes around,” she said.
Moreover, Jasmine said that they do not really talk about work when they are together because, “When we’re together, we talk about our personal life. Work mode is off so as much as possible, kung may frustrations man lang kami sa work, ‘yun lang and then, pagkatapos n’on, wala na. It’s about who we are as human beings, tapos na muna ‘yung trabaho.”
Speaking of Anne, the young actress shared that for her sister’s 31st birthday celebration last February 17, they had dinner with the entire family, as well as with Anne’s friends and management. When asked about her birthday wish for her, she said, “She has everything naman talaga and everything is going well for her so I just wish for that to perpetuate and it keeps going on and on and on, and life will just keep getting better for her.”
When asked if she “pushes” her sister to get engaged to long-time boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, Jasmine answered, “Hindi ‘yun pinupush. In God’s perfect time, it will happen… Siyempre (gusto ko) but I know it will happen naman. I don’t need to force it. Hindi ko naman kailangan, ‘uy Erwan, dalian mo na,’ di ba? Kasi it will happen and at the same time, it’s just papers, it’s just a ring. Whatever they have now, it’s more than just a ring and more than just papers.”
